Lake Nacogdoches

Lake Nacogdoches is located on Loco Bayou, 10 miles west of downtown Nacogdoches. This 2,200 acre lake offers a great place to catch largemouth bass, crappie and sunfish. Two lakeside parks include pavilions, picnic tables, charcoal grills, swimming area, boat ramps, accessible fishing and boat dock, a nature-hiking trail and playgrounds.

The City of Nacogdoches is the reservoir controlling authority for this man-made lake, which was impounded in 1976. Current lake levels are available here.
